The numbers are big and easy to see and he can carry it where ever he needs in his house. They all loved them, especially my Grandfather. One in the kitchen and one in our bathroom so my husband can see what the temp is before he dresses for work. This is a great gift. We gave them to all the "Dads" one Christmas. We have 2 of them.
This product meets our needs and I'd say it is a great purchase. apart. It connected with the remote almost instantly, though they are only about 25ft. or just overnight). I purchased this for my husband since he was always asking me how cold I thought it was outside.now he knows. I read the reviews before purchasing and I have to say that we haven't had one issue with it. My husband loves the feature that allows you to see how low or high the temperature has been over a certain period of time (say in the last 24 hrs.
The remote is about 30 feet away and seems fairly accurate.If you are looking for something that gives you 10ths of a dgree accuracy, then maybe this is not for you. The unit works well, no problems setting it up and connecting it to the remote unit. We just wanted to make sure the baby room is comfortable :)overall, very happy with the purchase
Works well. Does a better job than the more expensive one my daughter has. and use. Great value.
I returned it. I couldn't make it work properly at 30 feet (it wasn't stable, losing signal every now and then for no apparent reason) and I followed all the instructions and had brand new batteries. In the product features, it says: "Sensor can be stationed up to 100 feet away.". Well this hasn't been the case for mine at all. Either my unit was defective or the signal strength needs to be adjusted for all units when built.
